I was at this one, and I remember talking to Garcia after the show about this jam. He said that he no longer liked "The Other One," and that they were going to drop it after this one. I explained to him what a great jam it was, and what potential it had for serious exploration, and that it was a tune they could perform for their entire career and it would always sound contemporary and cool. It took a little convincing on my part, but he eventually agreed. So, you all have me to thank for the continued existence of "The Other One."
